Introducing Histopol

I have been teaching and writing about Politics, History, and Economics for decades. In that time, it has become obvious that sharing as much as possible about something that is really a human science–Histopol, or Political Economy–is one of the best things that one can do to understand all three.

This site is distinct from my diary-style blogger account, and my other professional accounts. You’ll find essays and podcasts about a variety of topics here, usually but not always focused on the Atlantic world or Eurasia. All mistakes are my own and any insights you come to are yours! Good luck.
